Boris Simončič

Boris Simončič is an IT professional who holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and has extensive experience across various fields of information technology, with a primary focus on software development. In his spare time, he contributes his skills in IT, graphic design, and desktop-publishing to support several non-profit organizations.

Boris’s long-standing interest in Buddhist philosophy led him to reach out to Jeffrey Hopkins and, over time, to become one of his regular students. As his relationship with Jeffrey grew, Boris gradually took on a range of roles, such as organizing classes and preparing, editing, and publishing video recordings. Additionally, he collaborated closely with Jeffrey Hopkins and his team on the revised edition of Meditation on Emptiness, providing organizational, technical, and editorial support throughout the project.

Eventually, Boris was invited to join the UMA Institute’s Board, where he focuses primarily on publications. Drawing on his desktop-publishing and production skills, he has overseen the preparation, printing, and the distribution of UMA books, making these precious resources available in classic print format.
